As a third-generation dentist, Dr. Marion attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where – like his father and grandfather before him – he earned his dental degree. After graduation, he trained under his father for four years while laying the groundwork for the Marion Smile Center.
In the meantime, Dr. Marion continued his dental tutelage by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education in order to achieve a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). In fact, he is one of only 5 percent of dentists in the United States who have attained this distinction.
Since then, Dr. Marion has been serving the residents of Zelienople, Harmony, Cranberry Township, and surrounding areas in Butler County, Beaver County, and the North Hills area of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, which he calls home and where his patients are also his friends and neighbors. Like his father before him, Dr. Marion became a dentist to provide his community’s families with the latest innovations and the best dental care available.
To that end, Dr. Marion and the team at Marion Smile Center have consistently won the area’s most prestigious dental awards. Dr. Marion was selected by his peers, other dentists, and specialists as a Top Dentist by Pittsburgh Magazine for six years in a row.
In addition, the Pittsburgh Tribune‑Review selected Marion Smile Center as a bronze winner for best dental office in the North Hills area. Dr. Marion was also selected as one of America’s Best Dentists as well as a Top Dentist in Zelienople by the International Association of Dentists.
