Our team at Marion Smile Center would like to thank our patients – both longtime and new – for a terrific year in 2018! We enjoyed caring for our patients during their 6,300 visits this past year and welcomed 400 new patients into the practice. We received 31 reviews last year on Facebook and Google totaling in 126 reviews and 4.9 star average rating.
Marion Smile Center opened its doors in 1986. A third-generation dentist, one could say Dr. Marion’s profession is in the genes. Having grown up watching his father and great uncle bring beautiful smiles to their patients, Dr. Marion wanted to carry on the family tradition. We’re excited that Dr. Marion’s daughter, Morgan, is in her 3rd year of dental school, as well.
Thanks to our outstanding team and our wonderful patients like you, Dr. Marion was once again selected in 2018 as one of Pittsburgh Magazine’s Top Dentists for the 8th year in a row. He was also named as one of “America’s Best Dentists.”
How We Helped Our Community
We teamed up with Smiles For Life charity last spring. We donated 100% ($16,000) of the proceeds from all patients who whitened their teeth from March 1st – June 30th. Half ($8,000) was donated to Zelienople Park for new playground equipment, and the other half ($8,000) went to Smiles for Life to provide dentistry for underprivileged children throughout the world.
Community Is Family
This past year tragedy hit a little close to home, as a friend to two of our dental assistants was diagnosed with a rare, highly aggressive form of breast cancer. In October, we were proud to partner with Pittsburgh-based Glimmer of Hope to raise funds for women who are diagnosed with breast cancer. Glimmer of Hope has raised enough money to donate a tomosynthesis machine, which has the unusual capability of capturing 3-D breast imaging while using 40% less radiation than current methods.
