Our mouths are determinants of our health, and therefore, good oral hygiene is of upmost importance. However, not every family is able to afford the basic dental care that they need, so their smiles and health suffer as a result.
Realizing this, at Marion Smile Center, we are extremely passionate about giving back. That is why our practice has a history of partnering with worthy causes, such as Smiles for Life, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing dental care for ill, disabled, or disadvantaged children in low-income families.
Throughout the United States and Canada, Dr. Mark Marion and the team at Marion Smile Center are donating their time to professionally whiten people’s teeth to help kids through the Smiles for Life Campaign (SFL), from March 1, 2018 to June 30, 2018. Ultradent, the Company that makes Opalescence whitening products, donates the teeth whitening materials to make it possible for dentists to give people beautiful white smiles. 100 percent of patients’ donations will go directly to charity!
When you get your teeth whitened by a participating SFL dentist from March 1st to June 30th, 50 percent of the proceeds made will go to a local charity. In 2016, Dr. Mark Marion donated over 11,000 dollars to charity benefitting the Zelienople Library. In 2017, he donated over 13,000 dollars which benefitted the Zelienople Pool. This year, the 2018 proceeds will benefit the Zelienople Park to construct a playground. The other 50 percent of the proceeds will be distributed by SFL to worthy children’s charities around the world, like the Children’s Miracle Network, Children of Romania, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, CURE, Smiles for Hope, and the Kids Cancer Care Foundation.
