In 2023, Marion Smile Center was able to serve over 8,000 patients this year, 780 of them were brand NEW patients. This past year over 470 patients took a lifesaving preventative measure in their health journey and got screened for Oral Cancer. During our annual Whiten for Charity campaign, over $113,600 has been raised for charity since 2016. Half of the monies raised benefitted the local Zelienople and Harmony community directly. You Whitened, We Donated 100%
Every year since 2016, the Marion Smile Center team donates their time and product to whiten teeth and in return, they donate 100% of the proceeds to a local Zelienople / Harmony organization in need and underprivileged children. Since 2016, $113,600 has been raised for charity thanks to our generous patients and community! March through June 2023, the team was able to whiten 53 smiles and donate $11,643! Dr. Marion’s $10,000 pledge to the Zelienople Public Library was reached. This money to help with their renovation to build a new children’s wing to help local kids read. This compassionate Zelienople dental team was also able to donate $2,541 to the Zelienople Historical society to help paint and preserve the historical Buhl House. The remaining $5,339 went to the Smiles for Life Foundation to help underprivileged children with dental needs all throughout the world.

Investing in New Tech
Dental technology is constantly changing and Marion Smile Center stays on the forefront. In the winter of 2023, Dr. Marion invested in a new CBCT 3-D X-Ray Machine to replace the panoramic (the machine used to take an image of your entire mouth every 3 years). This machine is more compact, takes faster, more accurate and detailed images, and has many more options and features than panoramic alone. You may see the team using this machine for impacted teeth, implants, root canals, gum therapy, orthodontics and more! This kind of technology is very exciting for this Dr. Marion and his team because they can instantly show and go over the images with you – together on large, high quality computer screens. They have found that educating patients and showing them what they are seeing, helps bridge the gap in giving patients the confidence they need to get the care they deserve – thanks to technology!
