Dentistry was his destiny. As a third-generation dentist, Dr. Marion earned his dental degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine – just like his predecessors. After graduation, he trained under his father for four years while he was starting Marion Smile Center.

Dr. Marion continued his dental education by completing hundreds of hours of continuing education. He is one of only 5% of dentists in the USA with the esteemed designation of Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. Achieving Lifetime Qualification into the Crown Council organization is one of his proudest achievements. Crown Council dentists must meet arduous standards for five (5) consecutive years in order to be included among the Top Dental Practices in the country.
When he is not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Marion is an avid golfer, and enjoys all sports and spending time with his wife, Kimberly. They have 2 children, Mason and Morgan. Morgan also became a dentist and specializes in Orthodontics and owns a practice in Florida.

Dr. Quest & Dr. Marion share a multitude of similarities. Both are from dental legacy families. Dr. Marion’s father was a dentist and both of Dr. Quest’s parents are dentists. In fact, her parents went on to specialize as orthodontists. We find it ironic that Dr. Marion’s daughter graduated from dental school and then went on to an Orthodontic Residency and is now an orthodontist. While Dr. Quest graduated from dental school, and then went on to an implant residency.
Dr. Quest and Dr. Marion share more similarities in that they both graduated from University of Pittsburgh Dental Programs. After graduating six months early and receiving her DMD from Tufts University Dental School in Boston, Dr. Quest completed an externship at Harvard University College of Dental Medicine. In doing so, Dr. Quest was one of just a few dentists selected for the University of Pittsburgh’s yearlong Advanced Education and Residency Program in Implant Dentistry. Prosthodontics Fellowship

Since completing her education and residency, Dr. Quest has had years of experience and has placed hundreds of implants. We are thrilled our patients now have the convenience of specialized implant and oral surgery procedures being performed right in our office with the same team you have come to know and trust.
It is very important to Dr. Quest that she be able to offer her patients all of the benefits that the dental field can provide for a well-rounded complete picture of dental health. She has over 300 hours of cosmetic and implant dentistry continuing education and can even provide Botox therapies.
When she’s not working in the dental office, she loves to stay active and especially enjoys competitive races. She believes preventative self-care is the secret to a long and healthy life, and these values are reflected in her own life and her patient care.
Combining Dr. Marion’s extensive restorative dentistry experience with Dr. Quest’s up-to-date implant specialty is a win-win for patients. With Dr. Quest’s education and experience in implant dentistry, Marion Smile Center patients have the convenience of Dr. Marion and Dr. Quest both reviewing their dental health and condition to determine whether there is sufficient bone density to assimilate and retain an implant and if an implant is then placed when the patient is ready for the final placement of the implant crown(s).
Dr. Quest places the actual implants at Marion Smile Center, along with other services such as implant supported dentures (known as all-on-4), oral surgery extractions, healing membranes, and bone grafts. Having Dr. Melanie Quest’s expertise at Marion Smile Center is another way we are better serving our patients by combining appointments to save time and travel and being able to offer more services at our Zelienople dental office.
We are better able to coordinate our patients’ care and follow-up with their healing by conducting dental examinations when they are in the office for other more routine dental procedures. Often times, we can schedule a patient’s professional cleaning or other dental treatment being performed by Dr. Marion or one of his Registered Dental Hygienists and have their implant consult with Dr. Quest afterwards, saving patients’ time. Future implant appointments can also be scheduled alongside other dental appointments.
